High Solids Lead Free Primers

These products are designed as fast dry, low VOC primers for miscellaneous steel. Lead and chromate free corrosion inhibitors and high solids content keep these products within current regulatory guidelines.

P-569 red: VOC 2.9 lb./gallon
P-581 white: VOC 3.2 lb./gallon
P-583 gray: VOC 3.5 lb./gallon

For use wherever a fast dry primer is needed for industrial product finishing and refinishing. These products are a suitable performance alternate to federal specification TT-P-636 and TT-P-645.

SSPC #25 Red Oxide, Zinc Oxide Primer

This primer exhibits excellent rust inhibiting properties, good wetting ability, and good resistance to weathering for normal periods before field coating.

Suitable for environmental zones 1A and 1B (interior, exterior, normally dry). It is designed as a shop primer, field primer, maintenance primer, or intermediate coat. This product is intended for spray or brush applications over steel prepared in accordance with SSPC-PA1 "Shop, Field and Maintenance Painting."

DTM Pipe Varnish

This fast drying, high gloss, water reducible acrylic hybrid is VOC compliant and can be applied to poorly prepared substrates with good adhesion. Under poor conditions it will air dry quickly while maintaining good adhesion to marginal metal.

Suitable wherever a low odor, high gloss, non-flammable pipe varnish is desired. Designed for quick dry and good corrosion resistance.

100% Solids Elastomeric Secondary Containment GEO Membrane

A high performance epoxy elastomeric designed for spray over geo-textile fabric which cures to a tough, flexible, resilient geo-membrane lining for secondary containment. Maintains flexibility and toughness in temperatures as low as 0° F. Excellent spray properties at a convenient 1 to 1 ratio with standard airless sprayers. No special plural-component equipment necessary.

Primarily designed as a secondary containment geo membrane for oil field tank batteries. Does well transitioning onto steel walls, concrete pads, piping, etc. A non-flammable, 100% solids, zero VOC product.

None. Self priming. May be top coated with elastomeric acrylic latex if desired for aesthetics or additional UV protection.

LCE-1009 Economical High Build Epoxy Primer

A high performance, semi-gloss epoxy primer designed to cure at ambient temperatures and exhibit excellent resistance properties to a wide variety of chemicals and corrosives. Has excellent adhesion, sag resistance and corrosion resistance.

Designed for use on airport runway systems, steel tanks, trailers, and miscellaneous steel and concrete. Resists petroleum products (crude, sour crude, diesel fuel, hydraulic fluids, etc.), brine and other salt solutions, detergents and lubricants. Shows excellent holdout for 2K urethane products.

E-9001 High Build Epoxy Lining

A high performance, epoxy lining designed to cure at low temperatures and exhibit excellent resistance properties to a wide variety of chemicals and corrosives. Maintains flexibility and toughness better than standard epoxies of this class. Exhibits excellent adhesion, sag resistance and corrosion resistance.

Designed for use on tank interiors and exteriors, various storage and containment vessels (steel and concrete). Resists petroleum products (crude, sour crude, diesel fuel, hydraulic fluids, etc.), brine and other salt solutions, detergents and lubricants. Shows good resistance to 20% HCL in the presence of aromatic solvents (Xylene, etc). Ideal for oil field frac tanks.

Aqua Clad High-Solids DTM Enamels

These fast drying, high gloss, modified-acrylic enamels are VOC and HAPS compliant and can be applied to poorly prepared substrates with good adhesion. Under moderately humid conditions they will air dry quickly.

Suitable wherever low odor, high gloss, waterborne enamels are desired. Designed for maintenance and product finishing (OEM) and refinishing operations. These products have higher solids than typical water-reducible alkyds and better adhesion and gloss than typical acrylic emulsions. Flash rust resistant.

May be applied direct-to-metal as its own primer or if priming is desired, use HT-5130 on ferrous metal.

Hydrotec DTM Products

These economical fast drying, water reducible products are VOC compliant and can be applied to poorly prepared substrates with good adhesion. Under moderately humid conditions they will air dry quickly.

Suitable wherever low odor, waterborne products are desired. Designed for maintenance and product finishing (OEM) and refinishing operations.

Enamels may be applied direct-to-metal as their own primer or if priming is desired, use one of these Hydrotec primers; HT-5110 or HT-5120.

Hydrolac DTM Acrylic Coatings

These fast drying waterborne acrylic lacquers are VOC compliant and can be applied to both steel and galvanized steel with good hardness, adhesion and corrosion resistance.

Specifically designed for DTM application where block resistance, fast dry and excellent adhesion is combined with low odor, low toxicity and low fire hazard.

Hydrobake DTM Baking Enamels 

These products are designed to give high gloss and durability at standard bake temperatures and cycles. Excellent hardness and abrasion resistance, combined with good chemical resistance, makes these products suitable for a wide variety of heavy-duty industrial applications.

Suitable for miscellaneous metal parts but specifically designed for low temperature/short dwell time metal drum coating lines.
